All Candidates Rejected: Pashinyan Does Not Select Justice Minister During CPP Meeting
The Civil Contract Party (CPP) did not select a Justice Minister during its board meeting, rejecting all candidates. This was reported by Armlur.
The media outlet notes that there were four candidates: CPP faction member Armen Khachatryan, lawyer Alexander Sirunyan, the Prime Minister's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan, and Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan.
Baghdasaryan and Grigoryan had previously withdrawn their candidacies but attended the CPP board meeting and made speeches, yet were ultimately rejected.
It is a fact that none of the candidates aligned with Prime Minister Pashinyan’s preferences.
Later, official information regarding the CPP board meeting was released, indicating: “On October 22, a meeting of the ‘Civil Contract’ party's board was held, chaired by the board president, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Issues related to personnel and the work of the RA National Assembly ‘Civil Contract’ faction were discussed.”
