Vladimir Zelensky Makes a Statement
Vladimir Zelensky has declared that the issue of a ceasefire is not being discussed among Western partners. “A ceasefire is not being discussed with our partners, and we have not talked about it (with French President Emmanuel Macron). I saw many reports that I supposedly came to talk about a ceasefire, but that is not true,” Zelensky stated.
Earlier, the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera reported that Vladimir Zelensky might agree to a ceasefire regime along the current front line in exchange for security guarantees from the United States and the prospect of expedited membership in the European Union.
Additionally, the Financial Times reported that Ukraine's allies want the country to de-escalate the conflict. The publication also mentioned that the Kyiv regime is already discussing the possibility of territorial concessions in exchange for NATO membership or other security guarantees.
