Georgian President Refuses to Sign Controversial Legislation
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has refused to sign the controversial legislation prohibiting LGBTQ+ propaganda.
"The President did not sign the bill prohibiting LGBTQ+ propaganda. At the same time, she did not veto the law. She simply did not sign it and returned it to the Parliament. Our legislation provides for such a procedure," stated a representative of Zourabichvili's administration.
