Information on the Armenian Peacekeeping Contingent in Lebanon

The Armenian peacekeeping brigade deployed in Lebanon carries out its mission exclusively at a permanent location, which is outside the conflict and combat operations zone. This was reported to Tert.am by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

It is noteworthy that Israel has announced the launch of Operation "Northern Shield" in Lebanon, with reports indicating over a hundred casualties and injuries. Tel Aviv claims that its targets are the infrastructure and assets of Hezbollah. In response to Israeli strikes, Hezbollah has launched dozens of rockets towards Israeli territory.
