VIDEO: Benjamin Netanyahu Appeals to Lebanese Citizens
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has addressed the Lebanese people in English, urging them to leave "dangerous zones."
He stated that Israeli forces are not fighting against the Lebanese people, but rather against Hezbollah, which has concealed rockets in the homes and garages of civilians. "These weapons," Netanyahu continued, "are striking the people of Israel, and therefore the military must destroy them. The Prime Minister promised that when Israel's operation concludes, the Lebanese citizens will be able to return to their homes."
