US to Send Additional Troops to the Middle East
The United States will send additional troops to the Middle East, according to Interfax. The American command has decided to strengthen the U.S. military presence in the region, stated Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder.
Ryder did not specify how many troops would be redeployed or what their missions would be. Currently, there are about 40,000 military personnel in the Middle East.
