Video: The Cost of Installing Reinforced Concrete Structures in Cemeteries Has Decreased
Asphalt laying, fencing, and the demarcation of burial sites are among the extensive cleaning and improvement works carried out in the capital's open and partially closed cemeteries in recent years.
The "Special Services for the Population" Non-Governmental Organization, operating under the Yerevan Municipality, provides burial sites in accordance with the law, free of charge. Paid services are also provided.
To avoid possible violations in the areas allocated for burial sites, the NGO is conducting boundary construction works. Changes have been made to the existing paid services, and the fee for installing reinforced concrete structures in cemeteries has decreased by 5.7%.
