Paris' Actions Escalate Tensions in Baku-Yerevan Relations, Says Hajizade
The French government's strengthening of Armenia's military capabilities poses a "threat to peace and stability in the region," stated the spokesperson of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, Aykhan Hajizade, as reported by Azerbaijani media.
Baku claims that Paris' behavior supposedly "interferes" with the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan and "escalates" the situation: "France has openly adopted an anti-Azerbaijani stance since the 2020 war and thereafter."
