Pashinyan to Make a 'Chistka': 'Hraparak'
The internal fates of the prominent members of the ruling Civil Contract party are more concerning than external challenges. Recently, Nikol Pashinyan hinted that a 'chistka' would take place within the team in the coming months. The party's elite is certain that pre-election reshuffles are on the way, with several 'big heads' poised to fall, allowing Pashinyan to emphasize a robust fight against corruption and to assert that he does not spare even his own, in addition to the former leaders.
According to 'Hraparak' newspaper, the government is not as terrified by the opposition's struggles or external developments as it is of this pre-election show resembling a 'catastrophic judgment' that the reelection-seeking leader is about to undertake. They are impatiently waiting to see who will take on the role of the scapegoat. Each person will be pleased with the downfall of others, only hoping to avoid being caught up in that whirlwind themselves.
