Shoigu States What Russia Needs Before Resuming Talks with Ukraine
Russia will not engage in any negotiations with Kyiv until Ukrainian terrorists are expelled from the Kursk region. This was announced by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergey Shoigu, in an interview with the 'Russia 24' television channel.
“We have not conducted, are not conducting, and will not conduct any negotiations with terrorists. As long as we have not ousted them from our territory, we will, of course, not engage in any negotiations with them,” emphasized Shoigu.
He highlighted that the attempt to conduct nuclear terrorism against the Kursk nuclear power plant is nothing less than the highest level of terrorism. According to him, Ukrainian terrorists had the intention and aspiration to seize the Kursk nuclear power plant. “But fortunately, they did not succeed,” added Shoigu.
