Netanyahu Confirms Sending Delegation to Doha for Gaza Talks
Israeli representatives will travel to Doha on August 15 to engage in negotiations concerning the situation in the Gaza Strip. The decision to send a delegation has been confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to his office. This was reported by TASS.
“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved the Israeli delegation’s visit to Doha on August 15 and the mandate for negotiations,” the statement said.
Earlier, Israeli cabinet spokesman David Menser mentioned in a press briefing for international media that the country would send a delegation for the talks aimed at stabilizing the situation in Gaza on August 15, regardless of any decision regarding the presence of the Palestinian militant group Hamas. He stated that Israel is “determined to ensure that these negotiations are successful.”
