Strengthening of Radiation and Chemical Risk Monitoring in Kursk
The Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia (FMBA) has intensified risk monitoring in the Kursk region. This information was disseminated by the agency's press service.
According to the announcement, “Experts from Russia’s FMBA have enhanced radiation, chemical, and biological risk monitoring in the Kursk region.” It is noted that the agency is providing medical assistance in the area and is carrying out radiation, chemical, and biological monitoring.
Earlier, Alexey Likhachev, the head of Rosatom, referred to the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kursk region as a direct threat to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant and the development of global nuclear energy.
