Counter-Terrorism Regime Declared in Several Regions of Russia
Counter-terrorism regime has been declared in the Bryansk, Belgorod, and Kursk regions of Russia. This is reported by the National Anti-Terrorism Committee of Russia.
The decision states that in order to ensure the safety of citizens and to prevent the threat of terrorist actions by the opponent's diversion-reconnaissance units, it has been decided to begin counter-terrorism operations in the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions starting from August 9, 2024.
It is worth recalling that earlier reports indicated that the Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of 32 Ukrainian drone-type aircraft in the Kursk and Yaroslavl regions.
