Israel Expresses Concerns: WP
Israeli authorities are expressing concerns that Arab countries collaborating with the United States may not participate in countering a potential Iranian attack on the Jewish state. This is reported by The Washington Post.
The publication reminds that on April 13, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE successfully repelled an Iranian attack on Israel using missiles and drones. Despite this, Jordan and Saudi Arabia have now declared that they “do not want their airspace to become a war zone,” while Egypt has refused to participate in countering the “Iranian attack on Israel,” according to the newspaper.
In an interview with the media, an anonymous influential Israeli politician characterized such public statements from Arab countries as “very alarming.” The official noted that their relations with Israel are very fragile. He emphasized that in the current situation, faced with the prospect of a large-scale war, “Israel is acting completely alone.”
