Georgian mercenaries are participating in attacks on the Kursk region, according to the American media portal WarZone.
As reported, citing a source familiar with the situation in the region, around "120" militants from the "Georgian Legion" are involved in the assaults on the Russian territory by Ukrainian military forces.
The Administration of the State Security Service (SDS) previously noted that the "Legion" was established in 2014 under the direction of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
Additionally, TASS has reported that a mercenary from France was killed in Krasnohorivka due to a Russian artillery strike on a tank of the Ukrainian militarized forces.
