+38 Degrees Celsius Heat in Some Regions

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, on August 7, after noon, and on the night of the 11th as well as after noon, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions. From August 8 to 10, dry weather is anticipated. This information is provided by the Hydro-meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The wind is coming from the southwest, at speeds of 2-5 m/s, with stronger gusts expected during thunderstorms, reaching 18-23 m/s. In the evening, in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn, an increase in wind speed is expected, with speeds of 14-18 m/s.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly. In Yerevan, thunderstorms are anticipated in the evening hours on the 7th and 11th. From August 8 to 10, dry weather is expected, with an increase in wind speed in the evenings of 14-18 m/s.

During the day on August 7, the temperature in the capital will reach 35-37 degrees Celsius, while in the evening hours, it will be recorded at +29 to +31 degrees.
