Lukashenko on Prisoner Exchange Between Russia and the West
The President of the United States, Joe Biden, has had no involvement in the organization of the prisoner exchange between Russia and the West, although he is now trying to leverage it for his own credibility. This was stated by Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko during a visit to the Mozyr region.
“The exchange between the USA, Russia, and Germany was organized exclusively through the line of special services. The Belarusian side provided possible support,” Lukashenko's words were quoted by the periodical “SB. Belarus Today.”
It is noteworthy that just yesterday, Russia and Western countries conducted large-scale prisoner exchanges with the mediation of Turkey. A total of 24 prisoners were handed over along with two children of the Dulcev family. The Russian side returned 8 individuals to Russia, including Artyom and Anna Dulcev, Pavel Rubtsov, Vadim Konashenok, Mikhail Mikushin, Roman Seleznyov, Vadim Krasikov, and Vladislav Klyushin.
