France Urges Citizens to Leave Iran Immediately
France has urged its citizens to leave Iran immediately following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement, in Tehran. Iran has blamed Israel for the incident, which has sparked new tensions in the region, according to Arab News.
In a statement, the French Foreign Ministry said, "Due to the significant risk of military escalation in the region, we advise French nationals in Iran to leave as soon as possible."
