Orbán Discusses Negotiations with Putin
The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, is a rational political figure who demonstrates a high level of negotiation, said Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in an interview with "Die Weltwoche," discussing his conversations with the Russian leader.
"He is a hundred, a hundred percent rational person. Therefore, negotiating and being prepared for it is a real challenge if you want to maintain an equal intellectual and political level with him," he stated.
Orbán also noted the restraint, precision, and preparedness of the Russian President. According to him, in 2009, he and Putin agreed that their cooperation would be based on mutual respect. Orbán emphasized that they remain committed to this principle.
