Alen Simonian on Relations with the US

The meeting with the delegation led by US Senator Roger Wicker was very productive. We discussed various areas of Armenian-American cooperation and presented the situation in the region and between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

This was stated by Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonian during a joint press conference. According to Simonian, the involvement and support of the US in these relations were discussed.

“We addressed the Armenia-Turkey relations, and I pointed out the information regarding our prisoners of war. I must say that our relations are at a very high level, with reciprocal visits constantly taking place, which is an important component in these relations. In this context, this visit is very significant,” Simonian said.
