US to Continue Working with Armenia and Azerbaijan on Specific Issues: Patel
The United States will continue to work with Armenia and Azerbaijan on specific meetings and issues within the framework of the NATO summit to be held in Washington. This was stated by Vedant Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, during a press briefing.
He noted that the ongoing discussions between the two countries are a priority for the State Department. “In the context of the South Caucasus issue, this is a priority for us. We will continue to work on specific meetings and issues at the NATO summit in Washington,” he said.
The State Department spokesperson declined to comment on the specific agendas for the meetings.
