Azerbaijan's Army Has Lost 19 Soldiers Since the Beginning of the Year: Report
Since the beginning of the year, Azerbaijan's army has lost 19 soldiers, according to a new report by the Caspian Institute for Military Studies. The study reveals that 17 of these casualties occurred in non-combat conditions, while two died from injuries sustained during the military assault on Artsakh in 2023.
The report indicates that most of the deceased were enlisted soldiers. The Caspian Institute for Military Studies also provided data on the number of wounded soldiers in the army during the first half of the year. According to the organization, at least 18 soldiers have been injured over the past six months, the majority due to traffic accidents, while only 2 soldiers were wounded by fire from Armenian forces.
