Armenia's Future is in Europe, Says Anton Hofreiter
Members of the National Assembly of Armenia met in Berlin with the President and members of the Bundestag's Committee on EU Affairs. This was reported by the head of the Civil Contract faction in the National Assembly, Hayk Konjoryan.
“Armenia has always been a European country, and Armenia’s future is in Europe,” said Anton Hofreiter, President of the Bundestag's Committee on EU Affairs.
The parties discussed the prospects for deepening Armenia-EU relations. They acknowledged that the democratic development of Armenia should increase the country's resilience and security.
Further discussions included the deepening of economic and energy cooperation between Armenia and the EU, as well as upcoming projects.
