Maria Zakharova on Armenia's Arms Supply from France
France is using Armenia as a tool to achieve its own objectives and is not guided by the interests of the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people. This statement was made by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during today’s press briefing, commenting on the issue of arms supplies from France.
According to her, this is characteristic of Paris' policy to be everywhere and bear no responsibility. In the context of the South Caucasus conflict, she noted that the French side had countless opportunities to resolve the situation, one of which was the Minsk agreements.
“Later we found out that this was just a façade. The actual manifestations were different: providing unconditional support to the Kiev regime on an anti-Russian path. In reality, all peaceful agreements did not interest Paris. And this is a direct quote from what François Hollande said,” Zakharova said.
