EU Imposes Sanctions on Armenian Journalist Aram Gabrielianov
Aram Gabrielianov, the executive director of the Russian News Media publishing house, has fallen under the new EU sanctions. This information is stated in the document published in the EU's official gazette, reports RIA Novosti.
The 14th package of sanctions against Russia has been officially approved by the EU Council and has already come into effect. The new package expands personal restrictions affecting 116 individuals and organizations.
The European Union has also imposed sanctions on Russian performers Shaman (real name Yaroslav Dronov) and Polina Gagarina. The sanctions against these figures have been justified by their involvement in the propaganda campaigns of the Russian authorities.
