Counter-Terrorism Operation Regime Established in Dagestan
A counter-terrorism operation regime has been established in Dagestan, and measures are currently being taken to neutralize the assailants who fired at a church and a synagogue. This has been reported by TASS, citing sources from the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) information center.
“In order to ensure the safety of citizens, to prevent terrorist crimes, and to arrest those involved in armed attacks, the head of the FSB Administration for the Republic of Dagestan has decided to carry out a counter-terrorism operation and impose a legal regime for counter-terrorism operations,” the NAC statement said.
Currently, efforts are underway to search for and neutralize armed individuals who fired upon the churches in Makhachkala and Derbent and the synagogue buildings.
