Currently, the Azerbaijani flag is located just a few hundred meters from Kiran, indicating a temporary presence. After the construction of the alternative road, they will advance further and will be present along the road. This was stated by reserve colonel Mihran Maksudyan during a conversation with journalists today, June 21, in Kiran, while pointing to the waving Azerbaijani flag in the distance.

He noted that after the construction of the road, the enemy will be located just 50-60 meters away from the newly built school. Maksudyan mentioned that already 60 hectares of land are in the enemy's territory.

At the moment he was speaking with journalists, construction works for the alternative road were underway, as well as the demolition of a house that was situated on this road. Villagers are also demolishing their homes in areas that are supposed to pass to the enemy.

Mihran Maksudyan stated that the previously operational bridge remains in the enemy's territory, and a new bridge is being constructed. He said, "The enemy will be sitting 120 meters this side of the bridge, towards us, according to the presented map."

“According to reports, shifts at our positions are being conducted through water; the enemy does not even allow a road to facilitate the shift. I cannot say for sure; the villagers are saying,” Maksudyan added.
