Trump: Biden Has Said Absolutely Wrong Things
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that current President Joe Biden should not promise Ukraine membership in NATO. According to Interfax, citing an episode of the All In podcast, Trump emphasized that Biden regularly makes incorrect statements regarding Ukraine.
Additionally, the former leader of the U.S. noted that the conflict in Ukraine would not have started if he were in power. "Biden has said absolutely wrong things," Trump said. "One of them was that 'Ukraine will join NATO.' That's one of the many things he has said, and when I hear him, I think, 'This guy is going to start a war.'"
Trump also stated that if he becomes president again, he will not send American troops to fight in Ukraine, unlike France and Germany, where “the situation is completely different because Ukraine is almost their neighbor.”
The U.S. presidential elections are scheduled for November 2024.
