Azerbaijan's Parliament to be Dissolved, Early Elections to be Held
The ruling "Yeni Azerbaijan" party has appealed to the country's president to dissolve the Milli Mejlis (Parliament).
"Parliamentary elections should take place in November during the international COP 29 summit on climate issues to be held in Baku," said the party's vice president, Tahir Budanov.
Earlier this year, presidential elections were held in the country, also as early elections, where Ilham Aliyev received over 92 percent of the votes.
