Ararat Mirzoyan on the Peace Treaty
The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, stated that Armenia has yet to receive a response from Azerbaijan regarding their earlier proposal to finalize and sign a peace treaty within one month. In a briefing with his Lithuanian counterpart in Vilnius, Mirzoyan emphasized, "Yerevan prioritizes concluding negotiations on the signing of the treaty and is prepared to sign it within a month," the minister reminded.
According to Mirzoyan, aside from Baku not responding, they are also putting forward new demands, which raise questions about Azerbaijan's sincerity and its willingness to achieve peace in the region.
