Adoption of the Foreign Agents Law Freezes Georgia's EU Integration, Ambassador Says
The EU ambassador to Georgia, Pavel Gerchinski, has stated that the adoption of the foreign agents law has frozen the country's integration into the EU. "The adoption of this law has frozen Georgia’s European integration," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze mentioned that the foreign agents law aims to prevent unrest and revolutions.
