Leonid Gornin Appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation
Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Leonid Gornin as the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation. The corresponding decree has been published on the official legal information portal.
In another decree, Putin has relieved Gornin's predecessor, Ruslan Tsalikov, from the position of First Deputy Minister of Defense.
Gornin worked in the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation from 2012 to 2018, initially serving as Deputy Minister, after which he became First Deputy Minister.
