The Area Granted to 'Armenian Knight' for 10 Years Has Been Revoked and Given to School No. 13
The government, during its session on June 14, decided to allocate a non-residential area of 149.2 square meters located in the basement of the building at 20 Arshakunyats Street in Yerevan, to School No. 13 named after Ernest Telman for free use.
The justification for this decision states that this area had previously been taken from the school and granted to the 'Armenian Knight' educational support charity foundation for a period of 10 years. However, the rights of this foundation have now been terminated, and therefore, the director of the school has submitted a written request for the area to be returned.
It should be noted that a residential complex called 'Buregh' is being constructed next to the school, which will further stimulate an increase in the number of classrooms in the school.
Furthermore, the founder of the 'Armenian Knight' charity foundation is Karine Tonoyan, the mother of Artsakh national hero Manuk Hovhannisyan.
