19-Year-Old Driver Crashes Tesla into Worn-Out Tires
On May 26, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 15:50, 19-year-old Ashot Arakelyan, driving a Tesla, veered off the roadway on Melkumov Street near house number 50, crashing into worn-out tires and a metal electric pole.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, a passenger, 44-year-old Tovmas Papyan from Yerevan, was taken to the Armenia Medical Center with injuries.
The police department in Yerevan informed the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan investigation division about the accident. An investigative team led by Deputy Head Arthur Adamyan and the duty investigator arrived at the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the accident.
