Nikol Pashinyan Has Become More Closed and Cautious: 'Haykakan Zham' Reports
In light of the recent turbulent political developments, Nikol Pashinyan has grown more closed and cautious. This is reported by the newspaper 'Haykakan Zham'.
According to sources within the ruling party, after the movement led by Bishop Bagrat initiated active new political processes, there are protests erupting everywhere on one hand, while on the other, Bagrat is regularly meeting with representatives of various political forces, figures, and other sectors. Amidst all this, Pashinyan has adopted a more passive approach.
As the ruling party members tell us, he has always been quite closed, communicating only with a select few from the Civil Contract party, but in recent days he has become even more cautious, and within the party, they don't know what is on his mind or what he plans to do. Whether he will decide to resign unexpectedly when the pressure increases remains uncertain, but discussions are ongoing about how to address the growing discontent towards their government.
All surveys have shown that, until now, more than half of the public no longer trusts Pashinyan’s government. However, they are now convinced of this and can see how the discontented public is consolidating around Bishop Bagrat, and even the fierce counter-campaigning is not helping, as people trust the Bishop.
