Judicial Hearing in Jalal Harutyunyan Case Held in Tense Atmosphere

The judicial hearing in the case of former commander of the Armed Forces Jalal Harutyunyan took place in a tense atmosphere in Sisian, Syunik Province. This was reported to NEWS.am by a relative of one of the fallen artillerymen from the "Tsori" unit.

The session was held behind closed doors, where the court examined the available evidence in the case. "The main judicial process has begun. It has been held in a tense atmosphere, as the defendant's lawyer continuously glorifies Jalal Harutyunyan, which is annoying the parents of the fallen," said the relative.

It is noteworthy that during the previous hearing, the relatives of the fallen had requested the court to hold the hearings in Yerevan so they could attend all sessions, but the court rejected the petition.
