Closed and Difficult-to-Navigate Roads in Armenia
The Emergency Situations Service informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and to Kari Lake are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is closed to trucks with trailers due to blizzard conditions.
The Dilijan serpentine roads are difficult to navigate for trucks with trailers, whereas the Vanadzor-Dilijan route is closed to all types of vehicles.
In the high-altitude areas of Syunik, fog is reported.
Regarding the Lars, it is reported that according to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
