Road Conditions Update
The Rescue Service informs that there are closed roadways in the territory of Armenia.
The roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for trucks with trailers due to snow, blizzard, and low visibility.
Snow is falling in the Aparan and Aragats regions, as well as in the city of Sevan.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Russian Federation's North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepanstminda-Lars road is closed for trucks.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
