VIDEO: Rocket Explodes Seconds After Launch in Japan
The launch of Japan's first private satellite-carrying rocket, conducted by Space One, ended in failure. The rocket exploded just a few seconds after its launch.
Debris from the rocket fell near the launch site in the nearby mountains. As seen in the footage, a strong fire broke out at the landing site, with a thick column of smoke rising into the air. The cause of the explosion is still unknown.
