Prosecutor's Office Investigates Shooting Incident at Nor Nork Municipality
The spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, Gor Abrahamyan, reports: “On February 20, at 09:00, the Police of the Republic of Armenia received a report stating that, according to a citizen's call, shots were fired at the windows of the administrative building of the Nor Nork Municipality located at 19 Gayi Street in Yerevan.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated on February 20, 2024, by the Investigative Department of Yerevan’s Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts under Article 297, part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. An examination of the crime scene was conducted, during which two bullets were discovered and seized from the landing near the door in the right-hand section of the aforementioned building. There is visible damage to one section of the window above the door, and six possible bullet marks were found on another window.
