Russia Responsible for Navalny's Death, Blinken Says
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is responsible for the death of the Russian opposition leader. In a speech in Munich, Blinken asserted that Russia has “pursued, poisoned, and arrested” an activist who fought against corruption.
“The responsibility lies with Russia,” Blinken declared. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called Navalny's death “horrific news.”
“Alexei Navalny has shown incredible courage throughout his life as the fiercest defender of Russian democracy,” Sunak remarked.
