Anomalously High Temperature Recorded in the Republic Over the Last 2 Days
As anticipated, the penetration of tropical warm air has resulted in anomalously high temperatures in the republic over the last two days. This information has been reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
The daily average temperature has exceeded the climatic norm by 8-10 degrees Celsius. Today, several regions of the republic recorded record temperatures for the day: in Ararat, temperatures reached +17.0°C (previously +16.0°C in 2021); in Armavir, temperatures reached +15.5°C (previously +15.2°C in 1979); and in Bagratashen, temperatures reached +21.0°C (previously +18.5°C in 1966).
