Yerevan Metro Issues Statement

The renovated escalator at the "Republic Square" station will be put into operation today. This was reported by the Yerevan Metro.

Summarizing the previous week, the metro stated: "The Yerevan Metro operations are proceeding as usual. During the reporting period, the number of passengers transported by the metro was 429,460. A total of 2,836 train sets were out, of which 513 were three-car, 1,351 were two-car, and 972 were single-car units. The planned passenger transport was 452,550. A total of 429,460 passengers were actually transported. The performance rate is 94.9%."
