15 Police Officers Dismissed from Service
In 2023, five sessions of the Police Disciplinary Commission were convened within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during which 25 cases regarding 26 police officers were reviewed.
As a result of the discussions, disciplinary sanctions were imposed on 22 police officers based on the orders of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and the Chief of Police. Specifically, 2 officers received a "warning", 3 officers received a "severe warning", 2 officers were demoted by one rank, and 15 officers were dismissed from service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Additionally, 1 officer was relieved of disciplinary responsibility, while the discussions regarding the materials of the disciplinary investigations and the resulting conclusions for 3 officers have been postponed.
