When Will the Winter Draft Begin: The Ministry of Defense's Call Ahead of the Draft

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has issued a statement in anticipation of the winter draft.

"In preparation for the winter draft for mandatory military service, starting on January 8, 2024, the military police of the Ministry of Defense urges the parents, relatives, and friends of draftees to refrain from illegal actions, avoid creating unnecessary gatherings at the Ministry of Defense's national collection point, and not to pass prohibited items, including smartphone-type mobile phones, to the draftees. They are also urged not to obstruct the work of law enforcement accompanying the transports of the draftees," the statement reads.
