Armenian Teacher Saves Students with Her Body During Shooting at Bryansk School
In Bryansk, a 14-year-old student named Alina opened fire on her classmates during a biology class taught by 26-year-old Ophelia Mkrtchyan. According to the Telegram channel 'Ostalozhno,' the teacher protected several children with her body, sustaining minor injuries in the process.
Students at Bryansk Gymnasium described the teacher's actions during the shooting incident. Several schoolchildren told the Telegram channel that as Alina opened fire, Ophelia Mkrtchyan shielded the children, and her actions likely prevented more casualties. The children also mentioned that she required medical assistance afterward, although there have been no official reports of injuries among adults.
Students also noted the actions of another teacher, physical education instructor Maxim Korabets, who helped save the children and carried them to safety.
