Strong Winds in Armavir Tear Roof Off House, Landing on Car

Rescue teams have removed the roof cover from the car. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

It is noted that the alert about the incident was received today at 18:22. According to the report, the roof cover of one of the houses on Sayat-Nova Street in Armavir city, Armavir region, was torn off by the wind and fell onto a parked vehicle.

“A firefighting unit from the regional rescue administration of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that a metal cover of the balcony roof (approximately 32 square meters) was torn off by the wind and fell onto a parked Ford car in the yard. There were no injuries. Rescue teams have removed the roof cover from the car,” the report states.
