Israel to Deny Visas to UN Officials Following Guterres' Statement
Israel will refuse to issue visas to UN officials following a statement from Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who justified Hamas's attacks on Israel. This was announced by Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan.
“Due to his statements, we will deny entry permits to UN representatives,” he said.
Guterres' assertion that “the Hamas attack did not come out of nowhere” has sparked outrage in Israel.
Earlier, Ambassador Gilad Erdan had called for the immediate resignation of the UN Secretary-General.
