Statement of the Speaker of the National Assembly Regarding Armen Chartryan's Resignation Request
The statement of the Speaker of the National Assembly regarding the resignation request of National Assembly member Armen Chartryan has been published on the National Assembly's website.
According to Part 1 of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, National Assembly member Armen Chartryan submitted a resignation request on October 23, 2023.
According to Part 2 of Article 155, if the member withdraws the resignation request in writing within one week after the announcement of the resignation, the Speaker of the National Assembly will issue a statement regarding this. If the member does not withdraw the resignation request, a protocol regarding the termination of his powers will be prepared, signed, and published by the Speaker of the National Assembly. The resignation is considered accepted from the moment of publication of the protocol.
