Armenia is Waiting for Weapons Deliveries from Russia, Says Andranik Kocharyan
Armenia is waiting for weapons deliveries from Russia, the payment for which has already been made. This was stated today by Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract party, during a conversation with journalists.
When asked if there are specific deadlines, he responded, "Any contract specifies both deadlines and penalties for violations of those deadlines."
It is noteworthy that just a month ago, the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reported that information claiming that Russia had received money for arms deliveries from Armenia but had not delivered the corresponding weapons and ammunition was false. Sources from Armenia and Russia informed the newspaper that the products have long been ready, but the Armenian Ministry of Defense has been unable to transport them to Armenia.
Later, according to the newspaper's data, Armenia suddenly canceled its contracts with Russia. Instead, contracts have been signed with private organizations in India.
The newspaper has reached out to the Armenian Ministry of Defense regarding this issue but has yet to receive a response.
